The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), in partnership with Knife River and WGM Group, will update sidewalk ramps in Whitefish. These updates will increase access for all as ramps are improved to meet current ADA guidelines.
Ramps will be upgraded at the northeast and southeast corners of 6th Street and US 93 and the southwest corner of 3rd and US 93. Construction will begin in August and will take approximately two weeks to complete.
Construction will be conducted between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Some sidewalk and side street closures will be necessary to complete the work. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of sidewalk and traffic changes.
