We provide services to all genders and can help regardless of relationship status - because everyone deserves a safe and healthy relationship.

Flathead Valley Childrens Advocacy Center

The judicial system can be especially confusing for children who find themselves as victims of crime. The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office oversees the Children’s Advocacy Center in Kalispell. This center provides a comfortable environment for children to talk to professionals who are trained in interviewing children. Most agencies in the Flathead Valley partner with the Child Advocacy Center and use their resources. A team of workers in different disciplines come together here to make the child’s experience easier and eliminate the need for the child to retell his/her story many times.

While no amount of compensation can erase the physical and emotional trauma experienced by crime victims, the Crime Victim Compensation program strives to reduce some of the financial burdens victims may suffer. The Montana Crime Victim Compensation Program can help with loss of wages, medical expenses, and funeral expenses incurred as the result of personal injury crimes.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children – Victim & Family Support

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

Coping with the traumatic experiences of abduction and sexual exploitation demands courage and determination on the part of the victim, parents, guardians, and other family members. The master-level trained mental health and child welfare professionals at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children® work within the Family Advocacy Division to proactively help families, law enforcement, social service agencies, and mental health agencies by providing a support network for child victims and their families.

Immigration Customs Enforcement Victim Notification

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), is committed to protecting the public and ensuring that the rights of victims are carefully observed. HSI administers the Victim Notification Program which allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable and timely information regarding a criminal alien’s release from custody. However, victims and witnesses are required to register with HSI in order to receive notification of a criminal alien’s release.
